Activity: Brushing Teeth
Materials Needed:
Model of teeth
A toothbrush and dental floss
A camera
Card stock
Lamination (optional)
Let’s Get Started:
1. Teach the child the proper way to brush his teeth using a teeth model, floss and a toothbrush. Include flossing, applying toothpaste, brushing every area of the mouth and rinsing.
2. Take pictures of the child at each stage of the teeth-brushing process.
3. Mount the pictures on card stock and laminate, if desired.
4. Display the pictures as a reminder for proper hygiene. If the child brushes his teeth routinely while at school, display the pictures by the sink or area where he brushes.
