Emergent Science 30 - 36 months Sensory awareness, such as seeing, hearing, tasting, smelling and touching, becomes part of a toddler’s life at a very early age. Playing Peek-a-Boo, placing items in her mouth and becoming aware of her own body parts will eventually help the child support the scientific wonderment of our world. A toddler will also begin to use trial and error approaches to solving daily problems and for completing tasks.
