Let's Get Started: 1. Play a game of, “I Can,” with speech sounds.
2. The teacher can say, “Who can buzz like a bee?”
3. The child would respond, “I Can! Bzzzzz.” Early on, the toddler will just respond with, “Bzzz.”
4. The caregiver can continue to game using articulated sounds, such as /t/, /b/, /m/, etc. The game already provides an opportunity to work on the /c/ sound by saying, “I can.” |
