Infants begin to develop curiosity very soon after birth. Differences in light, noise and other environmental changes naturally peak the child’s interest in the world around her. This curiosity is displayed by the infant’s curiosity, independence and impulse control. Caregivers can support this natural sense of curiosity by providing different items and surroundings in the environment.
